One plan.One model.One link.

So you do not have to take the rest of this site on trust: one complete run, in the open. The fictional study Haus Lindenweg, from floor plan to model to images and flights — and the result exactly as a client receives it.

The run

What happened between plan and link.

  1. 01

    The plan

A floor plan we drew for this website: Haus Lindenweg, 12 × 9 metres, two storeys. An invented house with no client.

  2. 02

    The geometry

10 walls, 18 openings, 6 rooms and a terrace, all in metres: this is also the form a plan takes in the project once it has been read.

  3. 03

    Check

Outline closed, openings on their walls, stair inside the house. Only then does an image get made.

  4. 04

    Place and light

Located in Graz; the sun position in the model is calculated for that place. Light and surroundings in the images come from the image model.

  5. 05

    Images and flight

4 images from fixed cameras and one camera flight. VEDUTUM compares every new image with the model automatically: storeys, roof, windows, doors, nothing invented.

  6. 06

    Send the link

The project becomes a page with text, galleries, flights, a model to turn and the plan — read-only, revocable at any time.

Why an invented house? Because it belongs to nobody we would have to ask. We do not show client work — those designs belong to the practices that drew them. You get the same house as an example project in your account.

The second case is stranger still: a measured drawing from 1760 in Charleston — two storeys on one sheet, dimensions in feet, not a single room name. With share page and brochure.
